The good: Very nicely thought out text - the introductory chapters, algorithmic approach and individual descriptions of the entities are great. The not so good: the pictures are subpar - many are PAP stains or Diff Quick which are not as frequently used as H&E rapid stains. Also, you get 1-2 pics at most/entity, and the quality of those pictures is not good. But considering the cheap price of the book, I guess you get what you pay for. There are other manuals of CNS smear cytology that are in my opinion better for a little higher price.
